Tormented by Tanks

Hello All. I am just stumped by tanks. I have tried the DCT and also the ibntanked with several cartos, even with extra holes using the punch tools, but I always get the carto burned after 1 hour or so of use
I would have given up, but I prefer the taste and draw of carto over clearomizers and vivis.

What am I doing wrong?

What ohms u use? What pg/VG ratio. What brand cartos is the biggest questions. And visit the cartomizer Threads you can find and read many to glean the best info for yourself. A lot of successful tank users here. I like Atty vaping too but in the end I'm usually using my tank and drip it when I need too. Makes for more vape and flavor periodically

hi zip,are you priming them correctly ? using the condom method at first then topping off,before you place it in the tank ?

I am gonna take a shot and say you are underfilling on the 1st primer fil of the carto. I have had that happen. What brand of carto are you using? Is it prepunched and if so how many holes? I thought I was the only person left on earth who still prefered carto tanks over the vivi nova and other rebuildables. ets start our own club LOL

Over filled is easy to fix. Just hold a paper towel under the threaded end and blow out really hard. That will leave the carto just right. Rule of thumb is that over filled is easy to fix but under filled will make you sorry.

Watch the following video all the way through and see if you were doing everything correctly. You haven't returned to answer previous questions we have in order to try to help you. What cartomizer brand are you using? What ohm rating? Did you use pre-punched cartos or punch your own? Dual coil or single coil cartos?
