Not sure if this works because I have not had this problem on mine but some members syat that if you turn the button about 1/2 of a revolution that it cures the problem.

If your battery is still returnable, by all means return it. If it is not, you might try rotating the button an see if it helps.

Either way, I would be leery of leaving an atomizer or a cartomizer on a manual battery that has a twitchy button. Perhaps you should disconnect your atty / carto from the battery when not in use.

Turning the button ½ turn is not true. The shape of the plastic button inside the shell will only allow approx 1/16-1/8" rotation.

May be posting a nice "here is what is in your Tornado/eGo batt" soon.......

A lot of people would be interested to see that. I wish I took pictures. To see why the button gets stuck you'll have to basically "break" the electronics out. There are very small burrs inside the shell from the manufacturing process that the button can get stuck on.

I was just about to order the Tornado or the Ego when I saw this. Has there been a manufacturer response to this problem?

This is not a very common occurance with the eGo. Out of 4 batteries of mine, it's happened to one (Tornado), intermittantly. Considering the quantity of eGo's/Tornado's that have been sold, it's actually a very small percentage
