I'm wondering about which of the many mods have been tried with the TorneGo Mega Carts. I've used the blue foam in my regular 510 carts and still have some on hand. It isn't thick enough to cut that type of filler for the Mega Cart. But, I was thinking of doing something like the Highping with blue foam tonight.

Anyone already do this, or any of the other cart mods on the TorneGo Mega carts? Good or bad results? Any suggestions?

I've vaping on the blue foam/Highping cork. Cut the foam to just slightly larger than the cart opening, put 1.8ml juice into the cart, squeezed the foam with tweezers to place it into the opening, then droppered another 10-12 drops on top of the foam slowly, allowing the foam to soak it up.

It's vaping. The jury is still out. Early indications that leakage might be a problem.

EDIT: Ugggg, just got juice in my mouth. :(
My attempt might be a flop. Or maybe I overfilled.

Looking for recommendations from you pros out there.

Post Edit: My atomizer was flooded, I blew it out. For now, doing better.

Later: Well, this just isn't working. I hope someone else comes up with something.

Even later still: Ok, ok, ok. The problem was partly the fact that my battery was nearly drained. Shortly after my "later" entry, I got the flashing LED and went to a fully charged battery.

Thanks for the input in post #3 sanfordf. I don't think I'll give up on this yet. Next time, I will cut back on the amount of juice loaded though. And, I like both the Mega cartos and carts, but am looking forward to a better selection of juice selection on both of them in the prefilled versions. I haven't refilled a carto yet. I'll try that this weekend.

I don't think there are too many that are using the atomegas yet, but I did try the highPing mod at the get go, since it works for my other atties. It worked as long as I either kept vaping or sit it mouthpiece down when I wasn't using it. Otherwise it leaked. I went back to just putting 40-50 drops on the stock filler. It does soak in pretty well and when I let it sit, mouthpiece up, it still leaks if full. It stops leaking when it is about half full. Now I sit them (I'm using 2 on Tornados) mouthpiece down when I am not using them. If set on the side, they'll leak if full, less if not. Just my experiences since 6/30. Other than that, I think I like the atomegas more than the cartomegas.

I just cut a rectangular piece of blur foam about an inch and a half long and as tall as the mega cart, roll it up and shove it in. It took a few tries to get the size exactly right so its not so loose that it leaks and not so tight that it doesnt wick, but it works great now. Very minimal leaking (I think its unavoidable with these...)

Well, I think I've found something that works without leaking.

I cut a piece of foam 10mm x 45mm (3/8" x , 1-3/4") rolled it up and fitted it to the opening after filling to just below the lip. Then, wetted the foam with a little more juice.

A half hour later: No leakage. It's vaping alright. It remains to be seen how effectively it wicks. So far, so good. The best I've managed yet.
