Good evening,

So, I too, took the plunge and got my self the Tank system from Totally Wicked. I should thank you people of ECF for helping me with making the decision to leave the analogs behind. I ordered the set on Friday (late afternoon) and the postman woke me up at 7:30am on Saturday morning  Great and speedy delivery! I haven't had a smoke since. I've smoked for on and off for about fifteen years. The main reason for me wanting to quit is my newly found hobby of mountain biking which requires me to be lot more fit than I am at the moment :)

I have been enjoying my new PV but there are a few things I'd like a little bit of help with. I just like to point out that I already have a PV and I am not looking to get another. I mention this as I read numerous reviews and some people don't seem to like the tank system...

* General tips from someone who uses the Tank on daily bases
* Tips on day to day maintenance (e.g. do I take the cartridge or battery out in the evening)
* How to minimize leaking (I noticed that a lot of juice has been soaked up into the atty and leaked)
* And anything I could find useful

Now, I have done some of my homework and read a lot about the Tank. But frankly it all got me more confused as there is so much and there are may contradicting views and opinions.

Look, I don't need anyone to walk me holding my hand but rather a handful of good hints to improve my vaping experience.

Just wanted to add that I've enjoyed and been happy with the Tank. I find the vapor to be flavorful and the hit is good too. It is just that leaking (or excessive wicking) and general day to day maintenance I need a bit of help with.

Thanks for reading and any help will be much appreciated :vapor:

I used an eGo-T for a while but, lately I've been trying other things. However, no one else is replying. The eGo-T can be finicky.

First, if you are actually leaking, meaning you can see it, you probably need to adjust or replace the wick. There are some videos that show how to do it. If you're just using a lot of juice, that's what those things do.

I kept it upright most of the time. Before you take a puff, take a few no battery pufs first for better flavor and vapor.

You might consider pulling the inserts in the tip of the mouthpiece. You can get them out with a bent paperclip. I seemed to get better flavor without them and I actually read one post from someone that claimed to have sucked one in and swallowed it.

At night I would pull the tank, remove the atty, blow it out from the tank side, and leave it on a paper towel.
