I've vaped at Sneaks with no hassle too, however I also vaped at Cloak without an issue. I think it depends on who is working, to be honest.

Graffiti's Sunday Black Metal Brunch? Food and vape heaven.

Ya, ONE of the staff at Cloak N Dagger was "I don't even like smoke machines'... I stealth vaped, and none was the wiser.

Not from Toronto LOL

If he was it would be really irionic if he sent that comment sipping on a Latte in the old Sanctuary / Starbucks

LOL.... I'll really date myself and add that if he sent it from that burger joint that used to be the Boom Boom Room... For the curious I've been going to the Bovine since '91, not to have 'relations with cattle' but 'cuz it's been one of the best clubs on Queen St (probably another joke about that name too...) to see/hear local punk/rock acts. Played there myself probably 20+ times over the years in various bands.

Uh?

Bovine sex club?

Nevermind I don't want to know.
it's just a name... it's actually a pretty good bar. one of the few left that hasn't been turned into yet another 'trendy' bar that toronto is so full of these days.

..
my buddy owns the Press Club on dundas st.. i bet he'd be cool with vaping, though it'd probably help if i told him about it first. if a stranger went in, he might not be open to it. then again, depends if he's already had a few or not yet.

if you happen to go, tell him 'Tristan' referred you. if mikey's working the bar that night, i bet he'd be interested in it.

A SCOTSMAN walks into the bedroom with a sheep on a leash and says...

"Honey, this is the cow I make love to when you have a headache."

The wife, lying in the bed reading a book, looks up and says,
"If you weren't such an idiot, you'd know that's a sheep,
Not a cow."

The guy replies, "If you weren't such a presumptuous .....,
You'd realize I was talking to the sheep." :D

Hey CemetaryMan, was Sinkin' Ships on that bill as well?

If so, how are they sounding these days?

They were... I thought they sounded better when I was in the band and we were called 2-Pump Louie. They've gotten kinda too new-alt-rock for my taste, plus their songs are too long (I still love them though). F-Up (why can't I swear on this forum!) were on the bill as well, how they won the Polaris prize is beyond me - I've heard a 100 hardcore bands that sounded better, must be the 'edgy' name...:p Leatherface = brilliant, played a ton of old stuff. Great guys too.

haha, 2 pump louie? I haven't heard that name in AGES. I used to hear them on college radio years ago and were right into them. I still have a CD in my spare bedroom somewhere. Small world!

Not a big F-UP fan myself, but appreciate them doing what they do. They are playing their most recent album "in entirety" this time around, which is kind of pretentious.

They did a great job on the Gorilla Biscuits bill though...was very impressed with em.
