Enjoyed my 510 at a show on Saturday night. I have a manual batt on it so I can be in stealth mode as long as I hold my hit in for a while. But after a few rounds with other musicians and friends I felt comfortable with vaping and ended up blowing out a couple of clouds. Just then a shout came from a table from across the bar STOP SMOKING IN HERE! A table of scowling young women were pointing and making gestures to the bouncer. The bouncer when over to the table and clued them in from what I gathered. I drank, I vaped, I played, I went home. It was the first show I have ever played in my adult life where I didn't go through a pack of analogs while standing in the Phoenix heat in layers of clothes. The next show is this weekend and I will see how it goes. But I also used it in a restaurant and some people gave me the evil eye as if I was releasing a nerve agent into the air. But I get those looks all the time anyway.
I learned about E-cigs from seeing them used in bars here in Arizona (hard to miss a blue led flashing in a dark bar). And they are running a radio commercial about an e-cig on all the rock stations here. So maybe the public is becoming hip to the technology.
