So after wasting around 30-40 bucks on juice i dont like from random vendors. I swear, juice is harder to find one thats good for me than anything hardware lol. Gonna go back to halo and try out another tobacco flavor and one menthol flavor. I only tried tribeca and menthol ice so far. Torque56 and Sub zero any good and not as sweet and peppermint as tribeca and menthol ice? thx

Tribeca was the closest i got to an all day vape but got kind of tired of the caramel like taste. I've been on the search for bold flavors and found out i really hate sweet e-juices lol.

Edit: Whats the normal PG/VG ratio btw on halo juices for future references hen i request ratios from other vendors? They go down alot smoother than the other vendors i tried with 50/50. thx again.

Hey NerdVap0r, Torque56 is definitely one to try. It really has an authentic cigarette taste, imo. It's bold and not sweet like Tribeca. I love Tribeca, and often mix the two. As for Sub-Zero, I've never tried it, but heard it gives a REALLY icy sensation. I'm more of a Mystic fan myself.

Halo does not give out their pg/vg ratio. It's a proprietary blend, but whatever it is...it works! I stay at 50/50 because anything else feels really harsh on my throat.
You can always try sample packs from other vendors and experiment with diff ratios to see what works best for you. Vaping really is a journey. Hope you're enjoying yours as much as I'm enjoying mine!

Just thought I would post this on a low PC thread so I can find it easier....

I'm placing another order soon (as soon as I hit the break even I'm getting a g6 kit, and a bunch of stuff for the g6 and my Triton. I'm grabbing a free 30ml from points and want to try a few new flavors from Halo.

Has anyone tried the following, and what are they like?

Tiki Juice, Captain Black, Freedom Juice, Southern Classic, and I know everyone says Voodoo changes and is hard to describe, but please try.

I don't want another mistake like when I orderd Malibu (I don't even want to try it after smelling it.).

i've tried Freedom, SC, and Voodoo...not the first two.

Freedom; pretty strong hit right up front. No sweetness, some tartness. It's a good flavor if you like more traditional tobacco flavors.

Southern Classic; like a clove cigarette. kinda spicy, very little sweetness, good complexity though. I hated this one at first, but it grew on me towards the end.

Voodoo: Craziness in a bottle, smells like medicine syrup, but if you let it steep for a couple of days, then you start getting the cinnamon which is tasty, and after time the fruitiness (plum-like) starts popping. This one is good after a good steep, and i personally have to use a carto to keep it from overpowering me.

Cant seem to click the like button on my phone at work :/. I'll be sure to do it when i get on my pc.

Good luck NerdVap0r, and let us know which ones you got and how you liked them!

Will do :), so far i made up my mind on torque 56 and turkish, still on the fence on sub zero if its just basicaly more pepperminty than menthol ice. Halo needs a custom sampler big time imo lol.

I finished the variety sampler and was a big fan of Tribeca, Turkish Tobacco, Sub-Zero, and (to a lesser degree) Kringle's Curse. Currently working through the tobacco sampler and I love Midnight Apple (reminds me of an apple-flavor hookah). Longhornhorn is good though. Highly recommend just trying each flavor to find the ones that float your boat.

I'm on a quest to try each flavor before committing to a 30ml bottle.

I started out with Tribeca too, but as my taste buds woke up, it became too sweet for an ADV. I went to Torque as it is less sweet, without the caramel. I was mixing both with SubZero for a menthol tobacco taste. However, SubZero is sweet, too. So my solution was to take Torque and put pure menthol drops into it, which adds all the menthol and no sweetness. The result was something VERY close to what I used to smoke. GOOD STUFF!

No No, you got it all wrong, the mystic and cool mist are basically the same, and the menthol ice and subzero are the same except subzero is 3x the menthol, same amount of mint. Sub-Z is my only ADV so far, and I currently have about 50ml of it in stock  (running low).

Thx, hmm sounds like subzero might not be for me. thx for feedback!

Hmm pure menthol, where may i be able to get that for mixing :)? Also is it as simple as just putting 1-2 drops? thx

NicQuid Burst - Menthols I add one to two drops per ml of Torque 56. For instance, for a full 30 ml bottle of Torque, I added 40 drops. If Sub-Zero was not so sweet, I would simply mix that. But this NicQuid "Added Burst" liquid adds just the menthol without ANY added mint or sweetness. It is just AWESOME. It is SO close to what I used to smoke that sometimes, I forget that I am actually vaping. :p

To me Sub-Zero is pure menthol, like the cough drops and almost to bitterness. Decided I would hold on to it until I had my next cold.

Midnight Apple is one that I felt needed to steep about 3 days but it is dreamy. Think real apple, not candy apple, with a smokiness. I tried my hubby on about 20 eliquids and he wasn't interested in giving up analogs until he met Midnight Apple.

Voodoo is probably my favorite. I get a lot of the plum/currant and a little smokiness with a tingle of cinnamon on the exhale. I don't vape it on a fully charged batt because I like the flavor better that way. It is one of the more heat sensitive flavors I have found and is generally my ADV except I keep running out.

I like Kringle's Curse but I love peppermint candies. After that for me comes Mystic which is just cool and refreshing and feels like a mix of mints and menthol.

Wow JoanJ, we like some of the same juices! I remember when I first vaped Voodoo. I couldn't put it down. Now I like to add some Tribeca in it to give it a little more tobacco flavor undertone. I got Midnight Apple and am letting it good and steeped. I'veheard such good things about it, I don't want any 'newness' getting in the way. Love my Mystic too, and I use Kringles 'erryday', as wheezal would say.
