Total cleaning of a GGTS

I was wondering if anyone had a video or written explanation of a total and complete cleaning of a GGTS?

I normally take it apart and clean all parts with Everclear.

I was wondering if anyone used steam to clean their devices? Would the steam potentially harm the delrin that is in some parts?

I have seen plenty of polishing threads, but not necessarily cleaning ones. Thanks in advance!

hi ob, i'm using a small ultrasonic cleaners, which is designed to clean jewelry, sunglasses, watches, etc.. it really works very well, small and convenient.

many people use distilled water bought at the pharmacy, i just use lukewarm tap water perhaps slightly soapy water with dishwashing liquid.
the ultrasonic move the water particles making them act like little brushes even in less accessible place.
the nice thing about a small device like this is that if you have glasses or sunglasses, you just soak for have them perfectly clean, so you saved the cost of different chemical products. dry with a micro-fiber cloth and you're done.

I put every part in my ultrasonic cleaner except ceramics and clear tanks. I had damage to both of those pieces. I use hot water with a little vinegar and dish soap. All come out like new.
