Good luck suftop. I have been doing this for about a month now and I have some advise on juice for ya. People may disagree with me but, Tobacco flavor doesn't really taste like tobacco to me. As you get into this you are most likely going to find that you really like it. Then you are going to want to try another juice so you buy a 30 ml bottle of a certain kind of juice that sounds good and you drop 25-35 dollars including shipping. Mistake. If you want to try a different flavor of juice I highly recommend buying a sampler kit. Johnson's Creek has a nice sampler kit on their site. It costs $37.xx and gives you 10 different samples to try. Going this route you could avoid buying a juice that you dislike and are stuck with 30ml of.

Thanks for the tip. I will no doubt end up trying some of these sampler kits down the road.

I figure I will use the extra carts I ordered with it, and see what I think for now. Most likely I will order juice long before I'm out of carts though.

I do not have a manual switch pass through. But if is the same concept (which I think it is) as the manual switch PV's (personal vaporizers) such as the Screwdriver, Zi Moshi and Dura-C, then you have to push the button to activate the battery. The advantage is you can heat the atomizer as much as you want, which tends to give better throat hit. There is also less issues with liquid getting in the pass-through or to the battery and gumming up the auto switch which has been a problem for many.

I too have not found many tobacco flavors I like but I know others have. The one I like the best is Kent tobacco flavor from EastMall. It's very smooth.

What you are looking at seems about right (as to where to get everything together I'm not sure with the shortages)
Maybe try a couple different suppliers.
One thing I want to add......please get at least on bottle of juice, you will not regret it.

YES!
I wish someone would have told me about the bottles! Its really a need, not really a want or preference. And in the end much more economical anyway.

USB Adapter for your car so you can use your passthrough (if you don't mind the wire.)

1000ma 12v adapter
It's made by Phillips (SJM2208/17) and works great. GabbyD recommended it and I believe she said she found hers at Wal-Mart in the aisle with the TV adapters and such. That's where my store had them as well. Around $10 bucks or so

I don't use regular batteries if I have a power source or my Kensington power supply.

As I was reading this thread, I kept thinking, "Surftop really needs a Kissbox," and then I get to the end and find out that's exactly what you did. :)

I think you'll like the KB, especially how it comes with a manual and automatic switch so you can see which one you prefer (and have a backup in case one fails).

Fair warning, though . . . for me, it was NOT love at first puff with the KB. In fact, after the first day, I seriously wondered if I had made a mistake. (The KB was my second e-cig, the first being the Janty Dura.) Now that I've been using it awhile, though, I really do love it. I love the automatic switch, I love how I can actually taste the vapor, and I love how smoooooooooooth it is. However, much of that appreciation started to come about the time my tastebuds really started to come back on line.

In any event, my KB is tethered to my computer and gets LOTS of use. When I want something hard-hitting, I go with my Dura-C or my Screwdriver, both of which pack a powerful punch. However, when I want to simply taste and enjoy the vape, I reach for my KB.

And, yeah, it's pricey, but the warranty is awesome.

So feel good about your purchase. :)

Yeah I wanted the kissbox from the get-go as it had all the features I needed and comes with both switches and the car usb hookup which is almost as awesome as the usb passthrough.
I knew the kissbox was perfect but I was trying to find a cheaper alternative...by going with a generic 801. It was just too much headache thinking about ordering 1 component here and another there, worrying about warranties from different places, etc...
I will def buy my atomizers elsewhere in the future though, since I found out any 801 atomizer will work in the kissbox, and are way way cheaper.

And yeah I will probably order a juice sampler kit from the JOhnsons Creek place that Playerag recomended.

I hope I don't have too much trouble finding a normal tobacco flavor that I like. I am not too into all the flavors I don't think. I will want normal tobaco that tastes like a normal cig (I smoke pall mall 100's since theyre still only 4 dollars a pack here)

Any tips in that dept would be super!

-thanks again!

I have been without an analog for 25 days, and knew this was the way to go. Picked up my NJoy Ncig locally at a Pilot travel plaza, ordered Johson Creek Sampler , and extra batteries and atomizers from myvaporguys. I was a Pall Mall 100s smoker too, and beleive it or not you are actually going to like the other flavors. They do have a tennessee cured that is good, along with the reg tobacco flavor. I could never stand a menthol cigarette, but the arctic mist flavor is actually yummy. I would actually order your liquids ASAP, because they make your batch up fresh, and I had a 2 week wait from Wisconsin to Virginia.

And no matter what any vendor says, as you have probably read, a cart does not last that long. So order that juice NOW!
Good luck and as everyone said, you may become frustrated and have issues as you relearn to smoke...sorry, I mean "vape". But there are so many folks to help you get successful!

Welp my kissbox classic starter kit and extra atomizers showed up today!

So far so good, with one minor problem.

Since I am charging batteries I have been using the usb passthrough to the wall plug adapter which they provided. First I set it up with the auto switch, to test that.
Then Switched to the manual switch, of course to see which method I liked better.

Well when I switched back to the auto switch...it had stopped working!
Brand new out of the box. It worked at first...the led lit up, and I got vapor.
AFter switching to manual switch and back to auto, it wasn't working.
No light, no vapor, no nothing.

I tried leaving it sit for a few hours and still nothing...so apparently I got a defective automatic switch with my kit =<

Already emailed them and I am sure they will replace it or what ever...

Other than that it is awesome, and so far I am loving it.
Sitting here puffing away with the manual switch and it running to a usb port on my PC.
Very satisfying throat hit, and Havent had an analog since around noon =9
