So I received my WL order and I want to try just a simple fruit flavor for my first DIY :)

36mg nic juice which is VG based.

Want to make a 22mg juice. I'm looking at the calculator which looks pretty easy to understand, but wondering what percentage to use (of flavoring concentrate) ?

Does it vary with each flavor, or is there a general guideline for, lets say Black Cherry?

Maybe with Koolada for a second batch??

Suggestions would be most welcomed and appreciated :)

You'll want to get the vendor's recommended percentage for that particular flavoring. Then pull down the flavor calc from the tools window. So if you want 20% flavoring and one single flavor, then leave it at 100%. Then type in the recommended amount onto the mixing screen on the flavor #1 box. Hit calculate and your good.

So really if I am only doing one flavor I could just type the percentage directly into flavor 1, then calculate (skipping the flavor calc) is that correct?

Yes. The flavor calculator default to 20% flavoring. So you want to decide if that's what you want. One flavor @ 20% is easy to figure out, just by typing in 20% to Flavor #1 and checking the box. The flavor tool shows it's real utility with multiple flavors. There is also an online calc for up to 10 flavors.

You're going to try 20% as a first test of a flavor?

Actually going with 5% :)

Still haven't done it yet, gotta get some VG.

I am not yet understanding why with nic in a VG carrier (100%) its saying I still need extra vg for a 40/60 PG/VG juice.

Waiting on that "A-HA" moment followed by a "Duh, that's obvious" :)
