It's sort of public. It's a hospital's Wellness Center. They got a big pool and then a smaller one used for Physical Therapy which is heated, and pretty much anyone can use it.
We do have a pool but, of course, not in the winter unless we want to ice skate!!!
Therapy pools are the best its like a hige freakin jacuzzi without the bubbles. I used to have to take my son to one ( well i would still if it weren't a 2 hour round trip drive) i can do without public swimming pools though i like to relax in water not listen to children and teens squeal and scream
Tea when I go it's in the morning and most of the time kids are in school.
It's also adult joint theory classes (they are three, start at eight, and run back to back) so rarely there is no kids. I don't mind them....just don't want them around during that part of my day.
Oh don't get me wrong jj I love kids have 5 of my own and 5 grandkids but like you said there is just part of somethings ( like water relaxation) that are not meant to be shared lol my back could sure go for a good therapy pool right now !
