Ok so ive been on a gogo with a chopper tank for like a year. In the last month or two the quality of the cartomizers must have gone down because im not getting a good satisfying vape and its making me go back to analogs.

After doing some reading, it looks like there are some pretty high end options out there now including the provari. The thing is I dont see any "kits" like back in the day....everything seems piece meal and I dont have a clue where to begin.

I think I need to buy the provari from provapes but then I have to buy a seperate battery, battery charger, cartomizer and tank from different suppliers.

Can someone make this easy for someone who wants a low maintenance vaporizer?

You could just buy the unit from provape then buy everything else separately I suppose. I bought the provari, extension cap, batteries, and charger from provape, then cartos, juice, and tanks from other suppliers. You probably could save a little money buying the batteries and charger separately, although then you'll have shipping charges from another vendor so it might not be that much cheaper. Oh, and you'll probably want some noalox for the threads on the endcap too. Just to let you know, it's much cheaper at home depot/lowes. I got most of my other stuff (cartos/tanks) from the classifieds here, and the juice I have right now is from AVE (avejuice.com) and NLV (nitelitevapor.us).

It doesn't get much more low maintenance than a provari with a good tank. Although there is a learning curve with tanks, it will take some time and wasted cartos to figure out how to get it working well with the juice you're using. I'd imagine if you're using thinner more PG-based liquids, there will probably be a little less hassle than with thick VG juices. Hope this helps a bit!

you could get your cartos and tanks at crystalclearvaping. He has the xxl boge 3ohm carto but they aren't in stock right now.. they fit the dctanks that he sells and work great. Shipping is included in his price and his prices are the same and lower than other vendors. Vaping at higher voltage can make your existing cartos come alive.

I went from to go-go to the provari! I love the go-go, but I've got to say the provari rocks. Seriously.

Hm, I bought the provari and extension cap from pro-vape and AW IMR batteries and a Trustfire TR-001 charger from Super T. Then I got boge SR cartomizers from Vapor Kings (they have a good deal if you buy 5 or 10 boxes, can't remember which, just put them in your cart and it will tell you the discount). I use a home made syringe tank, so I can't tell you a good place to get a tank.

They sell a Provari kit but it's $211 ProVari Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette..I wouldn't spend over $100 on a PV myself..for under $100 it better have a charger and at least a battery...

yeah i saw the kit.....im kinda leaning towards going with the mini now because im not a super chain vaper....im sure i can make a battery last a day.

they dont have a kit for that, so im thinking of getting the pv, batteries and charger from provape and then get the cartomizers and tank from somewhere else. Is there any reason to go with provapes tank and cartos?

you can get cartos and tanks that are the same thing, cheaper at other places. Like I said above, CCV has low prices and no shipping charges (and you get free drip tips!) Fast shipping and a great guy. This is just where I get my stuff... I'm sure there are lots of other great places as well.

I know the provari is expensive and because of that I tried other, less expensive options. I ended up spending more money, frustration and time when I could have just got the provari in the first place and saved all of that. But then again I learned a lot and gained valuable experience.

I looked around a little bit and provapes had the best deal for a basic tank (which is what i wanted). Heres what I'm getting. The only thing that confuses me is that I thought the DCT meant dual coil but the cartomizers are specially stating that they are single coil.

EDIT: crap i just realized i ordered the regular instead of the mini......oh well

DCT Cartomizer Tank - 6.0ml - Large

I am not sure what quantities you ordered but looks like a good start. I use two batteries in rotation. I use one while the other charges. Also, you might need a decent quantity of cartomizers because you will go through several trying stuff out on the Provari. Looks like you are set up. I also keep a smaller dual coil tank for trying out other flavors and stuff. I know, another expense but I use the same cartomizers in them so the only expense is $10 or so for the smaller dual coil tank. Just gives me some options. Great setup and have fun vaping!

If you bought the standard size provari and 18350 batts... they won't work! You can always contact provape and see if there's time to alter your order. I've read where they're shipping pretty fast here lately so you better hurry if this is the case.

The dctanks were originally for the longer dc cartos. But the smoktech 1.7 single coil cartos are long enough to fit and now boge is making xxl cartos that are long enough to fit also. Maybe a name change is in order LOL The standard size prov works with 18490 and with the extension cap, 18650 batts. Either way, the internals are still the same and what you set will be what you get, regardless of size. The mini has the same V2 capabilities that the standard now has.

edit.. just reread your post and saw where you ordered the matching batts. You can still probably change your order if you would rather have the mini.

I honestly don't know. Lot's of people use and enjoy dual coil cartos in tanks. I didn't mess with them too long because I had heard from people that they kept flooding. But obviously there are lots of people getting them to work. Can't hurt to try since you're already getting them. I use xxl single coil boge cartos and I condom fill after I punch.. then before I put them in a tank I check the resistance on the provari to make sure they are what they say they are and not doa. I'm using the xxl boge cartos in a dctank and have had no problems, but the first one out of the box metered 1.1ohms. That's the only one that did that and really the only carto I ever had to be defective right off the bat.

The only places that I know of that sell the xxl boge (long enough to fit in the dctanks) is ccv and healthcabin and they are both out of stock right now (in SS) I would imagine that there are other places too. If there are, someone will chime in soon.

Also.. you may already know this but if they do change your order to the mini... the 18490 batts won't work on it unless you get the extension cap.

Got my provari in a couple days ago with the DCT Tank. This thing is awesome. I dont even have to kick up the voltage past 4.2 to get a good throat hit. Battery has lasted me two days and now its at 3.6.

Great purchase.

Nice going......You are at the TOP of the game now......Glad you didn't waste your money on anything else.....You may have spent more, but now you know what everyone who owns a Provari is talking about!!!!
