I have no clue about any of these devices. I just keep saying the myblu commercial. I am not a heavy smoker probably a pack every two days. My question is how long will these pods last and is it more expensive than smoking?

Thanks, is it easy enough to figure out how to refill and what do you refill it with and where do you get stuff at. I got to be pretty price-conscious I'm on disability so on a fixed income. I just don't want to get into something I can't afford so it sounds like I can afford it if I can figure out how to refill right.Welcome. Starting up can be close to a weeks worth of smoking that's all. Learn how to refill the pod and it's much cheaper.
Whole time I've been here, haven't come close to spending what I have on cigarettes. Saved a fortune.
I only started vaping because I tried a device like that. They’re not the most efficient, effective, or cost conscious way to do it, but it’ll at least give you an idea of if you think vaping would help you quit.
So I’m all for it, just to start out.
You can also find cheap refillable pods, or tanks and mods that will save you a lot of money in the long run.
Here’s a pod I have and use every day, alongside my extensive mod collection. You can get it cheaper elsewhere, if you’re willing to wait for shipment from China

The pod should last a day or two since you’re not smoking heavily, just puff on it until you feel satisfied. How much you spend depends how far “into” vaping you get. Start with the prefilled pods and if you dig it then look into the refillable pods, best to not start out with an over abundance of gear...personal experience.I have no clue about any of these devices. Cool those are about as good answers as I can get I guess. You don't know what you don't know. Now I did try this vaping device my brother had. And it left the top of my mouth/throat real itchy. That's one of those ones with the glass top that you fill up. The itchy throat was enough for me not to want to try that device anymore.
Thanks I should have came to a site like this a lot sooner. A lot of good answers right to the point. That could be a problem, although it may be one with a solution.
eJuice/eliquid/juice/the stuff you fill the pod with is usually made of:
Some people also seem to have been using vitamin E acetate and/or other oils, which appear to be responsible for the health issues in the news. Avoid all oils!
- VG (vegetable glycerin)
- PG (propylene glycol)
- non-oil-based flavourings
- nicotine
You can get juice for refilling at a vape shop or online. If you let us know where you are, someone will be able to point you in the right direction.
Now for the itchiness. Some people are sensitive to one or more of the ingredients I listed above. PG sensitivity is the most likely culprit for mouth/throat itchiness, but no guarantees. If that does turn out to be the case, you might be OK with high VG/ low PG juice, or you might need 100% VG juice. The really high VG juices tend to be too thick to work well in pods, so you might want to consider another type of device.
I think there are medical tests that can determine what, if anything, you're sensitive to, but most people just use trial and error as long as the symptoms are limited to irritation. There are a number of things you could try to narrow down the problem, but they involve having access to different juices and devices and it doesn't sound like you're in a position to fund a thorough experiment. Perhaps someone else will have a better idea.
