I'm new to DIY and have only mixed up some Flavour Art single flavour mixes so far. I ordered some empty bottles from TW and a bottle of Gold Standard cherry concentrate. Looking at their website they seem to recommend 30% flavouring in the mix, this seems unusually high considering FA is around 5% (although I realise FA generally has a lower %age compared with most). Can anyone give an insight into what level mix they use as I don't want to waste flavouring on a wrong mix. I know personal preferences on mixes is variable but a ball park figure would be handy if anyone has used TW stuff.

I would make a 3 mL test juice at 10%, and see what you think. That is a normal start, and it won't waste too much. If it is too much, then you can mix it down with some unflavored at the same nic strength. I would also not make a decision on if you like it right away. Often times something that tastes good in the first few hits gets cloying soon after. But everyone's tastes are different. What matters is what YOU like.
