The key to using this circuit is the 10 MOhm resistor between the Gate (G) and Source (S) pins on the IRL3103 mosfet (I picked up some of these from eBay). You may have to increase the resistor value to get a good response. I ended up using 4 10-MOhm resistors in series (40 MOhm) to get a good response of the touch switch.

My one and only touch switch mod (that I built, I have a Saber Touch mod) - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...79-finally-its-done-my-touch-switch-puck.html

Thank you both! I did not have any luck finding the ckt on breaktru's index but lots of great info there. The links are great thanks for that TomCatt. I also have been googling and learned there are like 4 types of touch switches. Some use a single touch pad, some a pair of pads and others use a pair for "on" and a separate pair for off. The single pad variety are the slickest but can not work in wide open spaces. Still reading will post my findings.

Wow Dan you don't do anything without throughly researching it. I only read up to page 11. I thought I was through. Thanks again for the links guys answered all my questions and then some. Still reading and learning. It's been ages since I etched a board Dan. I once etched my own double sided board, fun project. Back then you hand drew your lines or used the rub on type of stencils.
