Yes St8, same circuit
Thanks . I do like that the one you listed is a smaller package . I tend to favor smd packages since i am able to make pcb's and solder them . I can make smaller mods that way too .
Yes St8, same circuit
Sometimes I post things without fulling thinking it through, and I apologize for that.
Just make sure that you have ALL of the Neg's going through the mosfet. In metal tube mods it's easier to use a P-Ch because your breaking only ONE positive to the converter module. However, it's NOT impossible to use an N-Ch in a metal tube. Just reverse the battery and have the positive end down facing the spring cap making the outer case positive and then you will break the single neg going to the converter.
Did I state that correct? or did I put my foot in my mouth... AGAIN?
Makes perfect sense to me. P-channels are generally perferable because you only have to break one positive instead of several negatives. However, N-channels are cheaper and more common so they are easier to obtain and there's a wider selection. Solve the problem by making positive common instead of negative, unorthodox, but does the job. Remember the old British cars with positive ground?
And not too small to work with. I think it's the perfect size.
Here is the revised schematic for the 3114. Note Nico that it is a N-Channel:

i tried a different things . i make a diagram when i come back home later . i did get it to work fine with a tact switch . Looking at my pic now that i got some sleep it looks like it is wrong . However i think i did try it the right way first . Ill let you know later on .
Make sure st8 that you test the Touch also with an atty load. On a couple I made, I had to bump up the resistor w/ the load attached.
I think I've seen this circuit...... LOL
.44 mini Booster Box Mod Variable Voltage
I noticed you took them down for non-registered. Hope you don't mind that I tried to help a dude out. Don't know where I found that pic though....Hmmmmm. LOL
