Hello,
I just wanted to ask if anything could be done about your 801 atomizers and their difficult draw. I have several other brands of 801 atomizers and they all have a nice smooth draw. Has anyone else had this issue?

My other 801 atomizers include DY 4 hole and Janty 2 hole. There seem to be no visable holes on these atomizers and really they are a pain to try to get a nice experience with due to the tough draw.

Thanks

A couple of options. First, you can try and back off the atomizer 1/8 to 1/4 turn from the battery to allow some additional airflow at that point. Second, some forum members have found sucess drilling a small hole(s) in the mouthpiece. I would think this method may increae airflow, but not vapor because the intake flow ideally needs to come from the connection between the battery and atomizer. Lastly, you can grind or file one or two flat spots on the battery threads to increase airflow into the chamber.

yeah man draw is terrible...

EDIT

I thought they had new 4-hole atomizers?

i believe the RN atomizers are actually "NO HOLE" atomizers , rather there is a small gap all they way around the seal where the battery and atomizer connect , i read elsewhere that some people have had success with removing the outer "band" on the bottom of the atomizer

The RN's that Puresmoker has are 4 "slots". You can see them right at the edge of the black and and the threads. (In my case a 10x magnifier and a very bright light helped with that, but I'm old and decrepit) Make sure they don't get blocked with "gunk". I clean around those when I clean the threads.

I actually prefer the RN4072 because the case does not get as hot, the body of the atomizer actually seems to be thicker. Now these are earlier models of the Penstyles and maybe there have been some changes. I know that one of the suppliers in China is no longer offering a warranty on them, so maybe they have changed. But my early RN's have worked beautifully, with a great draw.

The atomizer does have 4 slots. one i got was not working because the pole on the atomizer was too deep for the battery to connect so i used a pliers to pull the metal band off... you can see the slots then, they are on the outside of the atomizer under the band. I GROUND ABOUT .03 off the battery end of the atomizer and walla the battery made the connection and it worked fine :)

for 4 holes, the draw seems hard!

its harder than my 1 hole 901 and 4hole pilot!
