I have both a V3 and an Ikon. It has been determined that using a number of 801 style atomizers will short the unit. These include the Eastmall HV ones (At least the ones from a year ago), Bauway LR's, Vapornine Rio's and probably a bunch of other ones. The Ikenvape shorty LR's are oddballs, but they have a small + contact and they work.
So, if you have a 510 base as well as an 810 base for these units, you may adapt over using a 510 to 801 adapter, and skip the cost and failings of the native 801 bases. I got mine from Super T, but I believe they got it from Heaven's Gifts. The part number on the adapter base: is HG05100801. Air draw was good and liquid leakage was minimal. Be careful. I tried another, slightly longer adapter and it failed to make any contact. I believe it may have been a different, older HG.
