TPA M-Type... Interesting smell... TOO FREAKING STRONG AT ANY UNDILUTED CONCENTRATION! I recall having a tobacco Absolute and M-Type blend that I mixed on my first day. It was trash... Destroying any atty for days after vaping. But putting a few drops of the blend into some un-flavored juice produced a very pleasant analog-type flavor and throat hit. I have NOT been able to re-create this mixture, since I lost interest and never wrote anything down when I first started. Now that I'm back into DIY, I am curious who has noticed the terribly strong but potentially wonderful m-type and how have you dealt with it?

M-type has never been an issue for me. At high concentrations its a bit rancid. I vape it as a standalone, and with menthol added. Imo, makes a nice menthol vape and I dont like menthol much. I never mix m-type higher than 3%. My first try was at 5% and it was too stong.

Another note, this is one of those tobaccos that I have found GREATLY improves after letting it breathe 24 hours and then capping and steeping for a minimum of five days. BTW, it seems to get more yellow in color with age. Add one drop of vinegar per 5ml.

I've found that the M-Type compliments the VZ concentrated French Pipe flavor nicely. I like the French Pipe, but it just wasn't robust enough to satisfy me. So, I made some batches mixed with small amounts of different tobacco flavors I have. My favorite is the M-Type. Haven't nailed down the exact percentage yet.

M-Type from TPA is supposed to be "based on" the Tabanone molecule, so I'm assuming it's a synthetic flavor that tastes like a real flavor compound found in tobacco leaves. Cool.
I have some and it is definitely something. Robust, yellow, stinky stuff.
I added some to TPA Tobacco Blend (alc) and it's a nice mellow flavor in low concentrations.
It reminds me of something in Halo Tribeca. I wonder if Tribeca uses M-Type or Tabanone?
