Has anyone used TPA Red Type Blend?

Just received TPA REd Type Blend from Good Prophets. Ordered it, along with 7 other flavors, on last day of the half off sale. Also bought Black Honey tobacco, RY4 Double, Flue Cured, and Turkish.

I assumed Marlboro when I bought it, but can't find any write ups or reviews of it.

It's in a 10% test batch in the ultrasonic now.

Any thoughts on this flavor?

Only thing I can think of is that they meant "M-Type." "Red Type" isn't anywhere on TPA's website.

Forgot this part: If that's the case, start low and steep LONG.

Thanks Matt. Will steep long, and ultrasonic the batch. Guess M-Type is what I should have bought as my Generic tobacco base?

I don't know what they meant by Red type. Maybe you could email them and ask? I'm thinking they mean Marlboro. I must say that 10% is quite high for the M type. I like 4% and that is really strong. I might cut it back since I added cinnamon danish and can't taste even the tiniest bit of cinnamon!

Let it steep for quite awhile. IMHO

There's quite a few tobacco types. I happen to like English Tobacco quite a bit.

yeap.

tastes like a regular tobacco.. kinda on the sweet side from what i remember.

but not as sweet as commercial tobacco.. from Seedman.

Tiny test batch notes say "Dry, plain, ashy, stemmy", so like a Marlboro or Winston I guess. Never a big tobacco smoker.

I do like the Black Honey Tobacco and the Flue Cured, right out of the gate. Really like Halo's Turkish, but no Turkish flavor I've bought is even close. Grrrrr!

TPA AKA TFA Red Tobacco - I assumed it was a Malboro knock-off, but honestly I think they assumed red meant cayenne pepper. The stuff is peppery as all get out. Makes you eyes water.

I have one called "Marlbaro Tobacco" from TFA. Got it from Wizard Labs. Haven't tried it yet. I'm scared. Smells very strong.

I just mixed some and it's steeping. The 3ml batch I tried previously tasted almost exactly like Maxx TB Blend only heavier? Maybe robust is a better description. The 3ml was 3% and that seemed fine to me so I mixed the 15ml bottle at 3% also. I also added 1 drop of TA and some MTS VW. Wish I could help with an idea of what it taste like, but it's in the steep zone for the next month.

I like the Red Type. With a little Acetyl Pyrazine, it makes a nice dry, nutty, base tobacco for me. Anyone know how it differs from M-Type? Haven't tried that yet. Currently experimenting with: Red-Type, Black Honey, Turkish, and Flue Cured. None of those is quite the rich pipe or cigar I'm looking to use in beefier recipes.

Tfa has a red and a M.
Red Type is only a wholesale flavor, like ripe strawberry...both aren't on the reg site...
I email Linda about I it, she said they hope to have retail sizes soon for t those flavors....
I'm trying to get a list from them odd flavors not on the site for retail, I don't think I'll have much luck in the matter.

So, I took a little taste after 3 weeks of steeping and I have to say the flavor is good, but it's way too dry for me. Not one for a 15 ml bottle I'm afraid.

I think I'll add just a touch of MTS VP and see if it helps.
