Does anybody use Vanillin (10% PG) ? I got it from WL, and they say it's TFA. I suppose it the same as crystals diluted to 10%, much like EM. I'm coming up short when looking for info on the paddymx master lists.

Edit: scratch that. I found it in a recipe, just not in the "As Used %" list.

Correct. Still trying to figure out how to include it in the "As Used" report. That is based on Official Flavor Manufacture (OFM) names and in the recipe its from "WL". Its been driving me nuts, but, I'll figure it out I hope.

EDIT: Figured it out. Vanillin (10% PG) is not on the "Official List" http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/336110-flavor-apprentice-flavoring-thread-36.html#post11163927 and that is what I am using in the report.

I have decided to rebuild the report based on recipes rather than the "Official List". I will repost after I have it up on the Drive. Hopefully this afternoon.

Thank you very much, paddymx! Your hard work is greatly appreciated!

I have other types of TFA vanilla, but this stuff smells nice and tastes pretty good too. Sometimes I don't want any added notes to my vanilla: french, bean, custard, etc. I'm not the only one using it, Wizard Labs is sold at the moment. Assuming it's a winner, I can only imagine how cost effective it would be in crystal form (if available).

I threw the one bottle of TFA Mary Jane in a oil diffuser in my bathroom, it smells nice. :p
I got some of that 0.9% saline you folks were talking about. I'm giving it a try at 1-1.5% depending on the strength of my mixes. It may not do much but I don't add PG to anything I make, from TFA to alcohol super concentrates from other vendors. I need at least a little water for dilution and nobody likes a dry mouth.

Mixed up a couple of interesting new blends that are in the USC right now along with 3 other tried and true recipes:

1. PB&B and the 3C's (peanut butter 4%, banana cream 4%, bavarian cream 3%, double chocolate 3%, graham cracker clear 3%)

2. Brandy and Alex (brandy 2%, vanilla custard 2%, bavarian cream 6%, double chocolate 5%, graham cracker dark 1%)

I haven't used half of these flavors before so this may be either interesting or terrible. The brandy smells a bit strong so far, it may need a lot of actual steeping. The other smells good already, I'll report back this weekend.

I shouldn't have posted anything until I tried them.

1. PB&B+3Cs- Muted flavor, but tasty. Too many flavors, too high of a flavoring percentage, or not enough? Does 1.5% saline (0.9%) kill flavor that easily? Back to the drawing board.

2. Brandy Alexander- Pretty good! A couple of hours in the USC tamed the Brandy. It needs more chocolate, omit vanilla, cut back on bavarian cream a touch. I don't think the graham cracker did anything. I should have added a little koolada. The drink, which I don't particularly care for, calls for a touch of nutmeg...

I'll work on it. I have a few flavors that aren't on "the list" yet and I'm willing to be the guinea pig, the only one I am afraid of is Mary Jane (which I consider a piney air freshener). I'll go back to being quiet and reading until I have a recipe I can recommend. I only have 3 TFA recipes of my own that I like, I'm a newbie compared to you people. Apologies.

Added a Table Of Contents for the TFA Recipes Report. Just display this along side the report PDF to find the page, then using the "Pages" pane in the report PDF you can go to that page without having to scroll through the whole report.
Wow Paddymx that's awesome! You're hard work is very much appreciated!!

I've never heard of saline (.9% solution) killing flavors - it only enhances ours (it's essential for bakery & chocolates). Our "base" for all of our juices is (mixed @12% VG nic currently, but dropping this week to 10% nic--yay us!) : 80% VG; 9% distilled water; 9% sterline saline (.9%) and 2% pure grain alcohol.

If 9% saline (.9% solution) doesn't kill our flavors, I can't imagine only 1.5% killing yours...but, as usual/always -typical disclaimer- your mileage may vary.

OK...I need help. I want to mix up some new concoctions from the posted TFA recipie thread here. Give me your FAVORITE suggestioins please ..... that goes for you too Paddymix !! :D

To be honest, I'm still trying to make something I can post. Other than that, most have flavors I don't have or flavors I don't like. I have tried a couple with some alterations but nothing yet. As soon as I have one I'll post it. I'm finding I'm more of a single flavor kinda guy.

TBH this is why I decided to try DIY. After months of buying juice, I found my favs were always the single flavors. Figured it wouldn't be hard to replicate, so I went for it.

The best recipe advice I've received so far is, start with low percentage. If the recipe calls for 10% I start with 7%.

FWIW I am enjoying a morning vape of Caramel Cap made with a drop of Stevia, pretty much as fancy as I get.

) have right at 100 TFA flavorings and I have no Cola..... ( depressed now)

I would go back through this thread until you find the most recent Flavor Percentages & start with that. Make single flavors using the percentages as a guideline and add TFA Sweetener or Cotton Candy to sweeten as needed. Once you get some single flavors that you like, take those and mix them together. That's the easiest way for me to come up with more complex flavors. I'm vaping a well balanced peppermint & coconut as I type but they are single flavors that I mixed up and only add together after I get the single flavor nailed. Neither are TFA flavors, though so no help with your 100 TFA flavors.

I do have a TFA Mocha and TFA Strawberry Ripe in my box of ready to vape liquids. The mocha was mixed at 5% and the Strawberry Ripe at 15%. I added about 1% TFA Sweetener to the Strawberry Ripe. I didn't add the sweetener until I got the flavor where I wanted it and it took 3 days to steep/age before that point. I just remembered that I have a TFA Green Apple in my box, too. It was mixed at 15% and has just a smidgen of TFA Cinnamon Flavor added--.25 %.

I think this is the latest % list.
