I am using Sweet Tarts Type Flavor Concentrate (TFA) WL because TFA's name is Sweet and Tart Flavor.Pretty sure they are the same. I generally use TFA names unless something like this pops up. Please correct me if in fact you are using "Sweet and Tart Flavor".

You are correct. I am using Sweet Tarts.

Sorry....that comes from me basically having memorized the flavors, so I knew there were different varieties of these.
If someone simply puts "cherry", I would have to ask if they meant Black Cherry, Maraschino Cherry, or the Cherry Extract because in certain recipes it would make a difference. Totally different tastes. I would also assume they didn't mean Cherry Blossom, but you never know!!! So many FLAVORS!!!

I really liked it..a good change of pace for me..only vaped fruity juices the past 2 months..can't wait to experiment with this one.

You really liked the RY4? Great! What percentage did you use? I assume you did a single flavor. You couldn't have let it steep, right? So, you mixed it, let it set for a while and vaped it. Result=good.

I've only done fruit, too. Your reason for trying RY4 is the same as mine.

I have 10ml at 5% waiting/sitting right now. I hope to do a 10ml batch today of 15% vanilla custard and 5% RY4 as recommended above.

For now, would someone give an indication about the effect of steeping on RY4? Yes? How long?

What color is your finished RY4 juice?

Thanks!

Tim

(Masterlock posted the vanilla custard recipe I quoted in this post.)

I let it steep for a week, it is still pretty clear at this point, maybe just a bit on the tan side, it has been getting better everyday since I started vaping it

Thanks, Masterlock! Very good to know this and I will do the same. I did make your recipe today. It smelled really good right off the bat, so I made a 20 ml batch. Now - to wait while it does it's thing...

Thanks again!

Yeah it took all I had to wait a week, like I said it has been getting better, probly due to the fact that it is getting more air and I'm shaking it as I use it. It really is a true dessert flavor, you will love it

That really applies to all custards with exception of the one from FlavourArt which has been tested and has none of the components (but unfortunately, none of the flavor either). In such small amounts, I honestly feel its negligible, though I respect anyone who choose not to vape it because of the potential.

That said, in my opinion, the low percentages in the e-liquids we vape are most likely less harmful than the 4,000+ chemicals in cigarettes, and that includes Diacetyl since it's in tobacco too. We probably got an even stronger dose when smoking than we would vaping since we were physically burning plant matter instead of vaporizing it.

Okay... So we vape it at a risk and decide if it's worth the risk, right?
