So I'm pretty late to the party on this, and I suspect I'm not the only one! I had NO idea about TPD (tobacco products directive) and how these new laws are set to completely destroy the vaping industry.

In May 2017 our e-juice prices are likely to sky rocket and you won't be able to purchase concentrated nicotine to mix your own flavours. As I understand it, this may also affect the hardware (tanks devices etc) as there will be a limit on the amount of juice a tank can hold (2ml I believe).

Now I only found out about this an hour ago and have been doing my best to read up on as much as possible. But what does this mean for U.K. / global Vapers and vaping in general?

Does anyone have anymore information and should I be buying up mods, tanks, nicotine concentrates, flavours and just about everything else I will need for the vaping apocalypse that is surely upon us?

Yes, it would be a good idea to stock up on everything you listed. That is what a lots of us here in the US have done/are doing also.

Lots of members here ( in ecf)from the UK. I a sure someone will be along shortly to further answer your questions.

Sounds about right. Not sure exactly what will happen in the UK with the regulations given the whole Brexit thing, but we have plenty of UK members who can pipe up on that aspect. But the simplest solution, yeah, stock up while you can.

Juice will be 20mg max, which means nic base has to be 20mg (insead of the current 72mg).

Juice bottles, no more than 10ml in size.

Tanks, 2ml max.

Stock up on tanks you like over 2ml and nic base.

Edit: assuming your from the UK, as TPD implementation seems to vary from country to country.

I live in the UK an they are starting to do the 2ml tank regulations over here, though I bought a big baby tank so the laws for that have not yet passed an they haven't yet passed any laws on the liquid yet.
I know that cos I got 120mls of liquid when I was working an had no time to diy but yeah no laws have been passed in any of these aspects yet

And regulation thats in favour of BT, BP and big taxation.

No regulations like not allowing eFest to rewrap unsafe batteries and sell them with over inflated ratings. Regulating that people who sell vape products at least know what the heck they are talking about. I am an advocate for vaping and your comment was very insulting sir.

And here in the USA we thought the FDA Deeming Regulations were bad! You poor folks have to put up with this nonsense! Feel for you..................

If the deeming regs remain in their current form, essentially everything on the US market will be gone in 2018 other than maybe some closed systems. At that point, the TPD looks good as at least there are guidelines allowing, albeit restrictive, open systems to still be sold.

I'm sorry if my comment came across to you wrong, it is not my intention to offend, my apologies to you, sir.

I feel the same way but I feel any logical safety regulations have been lost. I too would like to see safer vaping in effect.
