Other thread was closed so I'll update here. Here's an update with other small(er) IMR's while we wait for the SW. (Included 26650s with this post, will post 26500 times after receipt of SW). Note that the generic IMR 18350 charged at the same rate as the PILA, so I suspect that it was not rated to charge at 1.5A. The TR005 charger will charge batteries to between 4.20-4.25V, which is still in the safe zone, before the light turns green. So if you want, use these guidelines to remove them or check voltage if you don't want them charged past 4.20V. My TR005's have been finicky. One blew out for no reason and was replaced kindly by David. Another doesn't always fully charge batts, another takes fooling with, unplugging and replugging the cord into the charger and/or the plug into the outlet before it'll turn on and start charging. It seems the more mah the batt is rated, the less difference between PILA and TR005 charge times. YMMV.

Very interesting findings! Looks like the higher amperage really speeds up the charge rate!

My first charger was a Trustfire TR-001 3.6/3.7 Volt Charger: it never seemed to charge my batteries to the correct voltage..over/under charged which contributed to short battery life...
2 years ago I invested in a Pila charger--best charger I have ever owned.. Batteries come off @ 4.19-4.20 volts every time..
I do have a TR005 Charger coming with my Shockwave order...I will keep an eye on it.. The good thing is my Pila will charge the 26650 batteries:)

Using the TR005 both my MNKE 26650 batteries and 1 of my blue 26500 battery go from Red light to Green Light when the charge is completed..
1 of my Blue 26500 battery gos from Red light to no light...is there something wrong with the battery or the charger?

It's probably the charger but it might just be the light. Try metering the batts when they are charged. If the charge at termination is 4.17-4.23 it should be fine.

These chargers are cheap Chinese made so they are not the best quality. They work when they work but...

They are fast when they work. I originally ordered 2. One went into sparkler mode and died and David replaced it. The remaining two: One charges not much faster than a PILA and terminates charge a little early and the light goes off as you describe. The second charges fast and terminates at a fine 4.22-23 but I have to plug in unplug, rinse and repeat several times before it will go on but this one goes from green to red. My guess is your light changing to off or to green when charged is more random and not battery specific. But you'll want to meter a couple when they're finished just to see for sure where the charge is on the batt.
