Tragedy has struck .... REO Mini Nickel has been stolen ...

Well its true, I went to a party for a few hours on Saturday.
It was at my brothers house warming .... about 45 people were there from 3pm till 1am or so.

I had both my minis there and was showing several people how they worked.
I had cargo shorts on and was very good about getting both of them in my pockets when I moved about from the house to the porch or the fire pit.

About 11pm (or 5 beers and 4 jello shots) I realized the Nickel Mini was missing.
I had several people looking for me with no luck.

I had to catch my designated driver ride home at 1am and still no nickel mini....

I had a slim hope that my brother or his wife would find it when they cleaned up yesterday.
Nothing.

I never ever loose anything, but its possible. More likely that someone thought it was cool and pocketed it

No one to blame but myself. I was really loving two mini in the arsenal.....
I will probably break down and get another one, but its going to make me sick.
Damm, I just paid for this one!

Thank goodness its wasn't my only REO .... though if it was I never would have set it down.

Lesson learned though ..... One REO only when out and drinking !!

Its horrible this happened! Mini's aren't cheap.....

A fellow Canadian in my area had his grand stolen from him when he was in a bar a few weeks back. I'm sorry this happened and hopefully the person that did this will grow some morals and return it.

Sorry dude, this is a terrible thing. Maybe the criminal will end up on this forum. put out an apb to all reonauts to "apprehend" anyone who just "shows up" one day with a nickel mini. If they truly enjoy it they should find there way here. REOs should have serial numbers.

Hindsight is 20/20, and sometimes it sucks! You would think in a home setting it would make a difference in safety. Guess thieves really don't care where they are if something looks good to them.
Too bad we don't have REO insurance!!! Sorry for the loss Tim, we can understand how you feel.

OMG...I'd be FUMING!!!! Regardless of the blame... I'm so sorry Tim. Thieves are amongst the most hated in my little world. I do truly hope that it is a simple case of the "pocketed lighter."

Maybe they will be stupid enough to bring it to the next party your brother has. Thieves are not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Just make sure you go to the next party your brother has and keep an eye out. Once spotted wait till the person tries to take a vape and smack the bottom of the unit.
