Want to get started in simple way mixing own e-juice, mostly simple coffee related flavors, looking for REAL peach and not many exotic multi flavors that may be sickeningly sweet or candy like.

Can someone (or more) point me toward DIY for Dummies along with set of training wheels?

Have located several sources on ECF for suppliers of mixing "kits" that seem reasonably priced but don't know how much info is furnished by vendors.

Suggestions, thoughts appreciated!

If you read all of the stickies in this section of the forum you will find all the starting advice you need. You can also search for specific threads with word "begginer" in the subject line. Then if you have questions about processes or percentages then you can search for threads specifically to you question and of course if you don't find anything that helps ask specific questions and all the pros will be happy to provide you with their advice.

Good luck and happy mixing!

There are so many wonderful DIY threads on ecf. If you really think about it, mixing 4 ingredients is not all that difficult for anyone. I suppose it can be more difficult that what I do. I am a mixing sloth really. I make a big bottle on unflavored and just add flavorings to it. I have bee very pleased with the Vaping Zone gourmet and super concentrated flavorings. You can use just drops in a recipe rather than mls. You so little of it I feel like it is even more economical. One of my favorite is a peach/tobacco mix. I love Vapings Zone's peach. It taste more like the fruit rather than candy.

I have looked at the kits but for what you get I personally think they are rather pricey. A good graduated cylinder made of glass is what I recommend and use. Easy to clean and the flavors don't get stuck in them. I got a couple of syringes from my pharmacist who sold them to me for .23 cents a piece. Other than that I don't need much else. If you would like my recommendations for nic, pg and vg, just pm me. I buy the gallon because it is so much cheaper. Good luck to you and have fun mixing. :)

Very well said.

I often wonder if more vapers actually took the time to compare costs and found out how relatively easy (if not time consuming) DIY is if more would make the jump. Yes it takes away the instant gratification aspect of getting a bottle of something pre-made locally or online...but it's often literally the same ingredients and flavorings from the same manufacturers that DIYers use.

To each their own, but one thing DIY has taught me is that if a 30ml bottle is selling for $20, it better contain bits of gold or be made of angel tears...otherwise (to me) it's a complete rip off...
