Traveling to Canada with E-cig

Sorry if this was posted before. I will be traveling to Canada next month and was wondering if I will run into any problems along the way. I will be flying to Buffalo and then driving into Toronto. I have flown domestically with it once and never had any problems, but this will be the first time going into another country with it and don't want to cause any problems or delays. Anybody with prior experience or info would be greatly appreciated.

i haven't crossed borders yet with mine but from what ive heard/read you should be fine if you're just driving across.
The way I see it is only explain what your PV is if it is found and questioned, its not illegal nor is it illegal to posses nicotine.
Just don't cross with tons of juice bottles as they could suspect you of trying to smuggle large quanities of nicjuice into Canada.
Health Canada is trying to stop the sale of any ejuice that contains nicotine, consumers aren't having problems once its in their hands but getting our shipment through customs is becoming more and more difficult. A few Canadian suppliers have been sent cease and desist/warning letters to stop selling any ejuice containing nicotine.
I do believe foreigners are exempt for all counts and purposes.
You should be fine, border crossing officers likely won't even know what ecigs are and shouldn't hassle you in the event that they search your car and self and find it. If so explain what it is and what it does and you should be fine.

I live pretty close to the US Canada boarder, I know quite a few vapers here who used to pop across to the states to buy cartridges, or ejuice from stores in michigan since they'd bought their device in the states, and didn't know where in Canada to buy. I really don't think any personal use is going to be an issue, as BCMan said its mainly bringing back large quantities that would probably bring on heat, and Im curious to see if they'd even catch it if you declared a large amount to customs while coming across in person. Not a lot of people have caught on to the vaping trend yet, that is the only reason health canada has been able to go as far as they have without being taken to court over their actions.

I was thinking about doing that too but was worried when it comes time to declare what you bought. What would you say or would you say anything?

I have crossed the boarder many times with my ecig in my shirts poket without any issues. I don't say anything about it.

I haven't crossed in years. What do they ask. It used to be alcohol, firearms and tobacco and of course if you purchased anything while away. The e-cig doesn't fall into any of those categories.

No body scan I just put it in the tray thing with all my juices in a plastic bag. It just goes through the x ray thing. They didn't even ask about it. No sense hiding it or trying to explain without being asked first.

And I had about four extra ego batteries in carry on. went through security in Calgary, las Vegas and Los Angeles.
