Traveling to hong kong and shenzhen from the united states

Hi, I am traveling to hong kong and shen zhen in about 2 months. I am not entirely sure if I can bring my e cigs there without any problems. As a smoker for 10 + years, I've decided to switch to e cig and plan to stay with it. Has anyone traveled to hong kong recently with a e cig? If so please share your experience

Can't help but chuckle considering all the time I've spent tracking the progress of ecigs coming from Shenzhen. Thought it was a one way path.

Hopefully someone with the requisite travel experience will post a useful reply.
