I was just searching through here about traveling. I found these:

This one says 88 mls are allowed on carry ons (post 4)

I am about to travel through three airports soon :( so I just plan to take it apart and stuff it in my bag and pray they don't look!

I haven't flown internationally since I got my provari. When I went to Canada, I just had my eGos at the time. They were in my carry on and I had zero issue.

When I went to Boston last month, I brought my provari. I had it in my carryon. I made sure to take the batteries out of it, went through security twice without any hold ups. Not so much as a second look.

I think it's really dependent on how well trained the TSA is and how good of a day they're having. If you get stopped you may need to explain what it is, but once you do, I'm sure they'll understand. Word of advice. Don't bring any filled tanks. Every time I have, they leak because of the altitude.

No reason to expect any problems. :) I've flown many times without issue since I started vaping. Make sure your liquids are in your quart size bag of liquids that you are allowed to take on the plane. Sometimes after going through the scanner they will want to look and check that you what you have are ecigs. "If" this happens (some times it does and other times it doesn't) it only takes an extra minute or two and you will be on your way. Enjoy your trip :)

I just got back from Hawaii, had 2 twist batts and 2 cig style batts, went through security 5 times. Not one problem. Put the juice in your 3-1-1 bag and separate the batts from the cartos or tanks. They didn't look in my bags once. I also vaped freely in the airport and no one even looked twice. I sneaked with the cig style on the plane and no one noticed. Don't worry and have a great trip.

Post #4 is saying that 3 oz equals 88 ml of juice. Not that there is a limit of 3 oz per ziplock bag.

You are allowed as many bottles as will fit up to 3.4 oz size bottles (each can hold 100 ml of liquid) in your quart size ziplock bag. :) Trust me, you can fit quite a few bottles into your ziplock bag ;) :)

I have recently been on a trip, went through TSA too many times to count. They confiscated my yogurt but didn't bat an eye at my e-cig. My clearomizer was full and I forgot to put my extra liquid in my 3-1-1 bag but they didn't ask any questions about either. I stealth vaped on the short and very long plane rides, the flight attendants saw me doing this but didn't ask me to stop-must have seen the caged animal look in my eyes.

Just for a clue here in doing a stealth vape. Take your drag, then inhale the vaper. Hold it in your lungs for 10 to 20 seconds before exhaling. It is gone, none will come out. Stand in front of a good mirrow and try it. In fact you can do this with the vaper still in your mouth and not inhaling.;) Just little vapes not big puffs.

Good tips from all. I just keep all my stuff in my carryon. I usually throw my Ego batts in with where I keep a bunch of pens in my lap top bag. 30ML Juice bottle in with any other liquids in a clear ziplock bad. Last year I did this going domestic, to Mexico, South America and Europe with no probs.

It is nice to sneak a vape in too once past security. Could never do that with smoking. On a long flight it's great too.

Photoelectric smoke detectors can be set off by vaper. I know cause it has happened to me.
Ionization detectors go off due to particulates in the air from burning.

So depending what kind they have in the bathroom it could go off.

Interesting. Never knew this. I guess all the planes I vaped in didn't have these. Or maybe I just didn't produce enough vapor.

When you set these off with vaping was it in an enclosed space with a lot of vapor? Or some other situation?

You can carry it on, and of the airports I've been in I've never had an issue with using it at the terminal while waiting for the plane to board. I'm just not overly making clouds of vapor as people will get freaked out if they don't know about them. The TSA knows all about them and I just carry them on with me, including juice. Never had any issues whatsoever.
