I am stopping off in Singapore for a day on the way to Cambodia but Singapore has an "act" on tobacco like products (other than real tobacco products:blink:) and cigarette type devises toys and confectionery that include e cigarettes????? and are not allowed to be imported sold or advertised!

I dont know what i am going to do :( Its a $5000 fine for breaking the act of law!

I am at my wits end, I have been analog free for 3 months which is a record for me and i cant cancel this trip! I am in a total panic!

This is the first brick wall i have hit in my short vaping life but at least i have not reached for or even contemplated smoking an analog.

What the hell am I going to do? The fear is setting in big time! I refuse to contemplate smoking for even one puff.

ship your ecig stuff to your final destination hotel. Get some gum. You could put some cartomizers prefilled in your carry on and a ego mixed in with some pens. Most countries aren't nearly as thorough at entrance, as we are and I doubt very seriously you would get a 5000 dollar fine if caught. They will just throw away your stuff.

They are ridiculously expensive but you could put some disposable NJOY Kings in a regular cigarette package to tide you over when in Singapore. I don't see how anyone could tell they aren't cigarettes aside from the lack of stink. I have not tried them but I've seen many ECF posts indicating the NJOY Kings very closely replicate smoking cigarettes. They are high nic so should be satisfying.

Send the rest of your gear ahead of time to Cambodia.

I would check into their laws regarding having this for personal use. In Canada you may come into this country with drugs etc that are banned or regulated provided that they are only for your use with a doctors prescription or something to that effect. This is in place so as to not interrupt a theraputic course of treatment (which in my mind this is). Since you are only there 1 day you wouldn't require much and as was mentioned ship the rest. I am always very cautious with Customs and I don't assume anything as they are the authority and have the power to do just about whatever thay want, especially if they are having a bad day.
I don't know about Singapore but in Canada I have found that as long as you have the proper documentation you are OK. Case in point, I was travelling last summer with my son and his friend to Florida. They are both 13 and I knew that I would need a note (they even want it notarized) for the friend because he is not with his parents. I was never asked to produce it until I got to Canadian Customs in my city. They asked if I had a note and I smuggly presented my note thinking...see I know what I am doing.......then he asked where the note was for MY son! Since I was travelling without my husband, he said that I also needed a note. I travel all the time with my son and have never been asked this. So, I had to go to the customs office where a nicer official told me that while that is the case it is almost always reserved for infants and small children that can't speak for themselves. My son, at 13 can certainly voice his opinion and besides I was bringing him back home NOT taking him away.

Moral of the story is, it's always wise to be prepared. Contact their Customs or check online as to what your options might be.
The difference for you is that you ARE legally OK to have it in the US, so a doctor might be able to help you out. I on the other hand am not supposed to have it as it is banned from importation. If you are still nervous about carrying it with you, trust your gut and don't. A couple of analogs if you really need to won't kill you!??

Good Luck!

I hate myself for saying this but...could you get buy using the inhalator? I must admit, since I got into using the ecig, there have been occasions when it has been inappropriate to use it, even stealthing, but in inhalator has done the job quite sufficiently for a few hours.

Singapore, I'm told, are VERY strict. I had a stop off there on a flight to Aus and we were warned quite heavily not to chew gum as they have laws against it.

Definitely check out their laws on things like nicotine patches and inhalators but the gum will NOT be allowed, as I doubt the e-cig or juice will be. Maybe in your luggage, they'll be ok but make sure you have a backup at your final destination.x

Simple really importation sales advertising and personal use of anything ecig or vape related is now Illegal in Singapore :(

They even have the "Litter Police" dishing out the $5000 fines with confiscation on the streets!

Not worth the risk taking it in knowing how Singaporeans hate westerners flouting their laws.

I have found a supplier in cambodia but may still have 3 nights singapore on the way home to contend with!

I will ditch my gear before customs in Singapore both ways so may just buy some ego t batts,

3 days without a vape is not geling well with me at the moment :(
