100ml or less in carry-on or checked?

I don't think it matters.

Here's the post explaining it.

"Can I bring my eliquid with me on the aircraft?
Yes you can with no problems as long as it is in a container that was commercially labelled at 3.4 ounces (100ml) or less or the container obviously could not hold more than that (I.E. the little bottles that come with Johnson Creek orders). Just please put it in a quart size clear plastic bag with your other liquids. If you do not have any you can ask someone when you get to the TSA checkpoint and they should be able to give you a ziplock bag."

and

"I have a container of eliquid that is larger than 100ml what should I do with that?
Wrap it up tightly and very securely and put it in your checked bags. After seeing the bag room at MCO and how the equipment treats bags I would steer away from putting it in any case that relies on latches to close. The latches fail way more often than zippers do when they get hit by the "kickers". They are not called "kickers" because they gently nudge your bag, I have seen quite a few bags with latches get knocked and burst open spewing unmentionables all across the baggage area so please keep that in mind. That is also why you should never over stuff your suitcase."

I was in Mexico a few months ago and was informed that they are banned.
I didnt know that at the time. I brought 2 Reos, 2 Egos and about 60mls of juice.
The customs in Mexico have a random search button. You go through the detectors then have to push a red button. If the light turns red they go through your stuff.
I had pvs in my carry on and in my check in bags. My juice bottles were labeled and in plastic bags.I had business cards from vendors.

I didnt have a hard time with police. They did see me using it.

Now that I know its banned I would not bring an expensive PV.

Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip.

I just got back from there last month. They are banned for sales purposes but not for personal use. That said, it IS Mexico and if you get the red light they can be ignorant and take anything they want ultimately. However, I brought my silver bullet, lava tube and tekk mod along with 120ml of liquid. I had my PVs, 2 batteries, one charger and 30ml of liquid in my carry on bag. The rest I packed amongst our 3 other suitcases. Once there, I had no issues what so ever.

Make sure you bring plenty of business cards for vendors because the guests will be curious. I spoke to more people about vaping there than I ever have here in the states.

I go to Mexico several times per year, as my wife is from Guadalajara. I carry everything I need to vape in the airport/airplane in my pocket/carry-on, and everything else goes into the luggage. I take everything apart and store them in different compartments in my luggage, never had a problem. And I've hit the famous 'red light' many a time.

Keep in mind that Li Ion batteries MUST be in your carry on luggage - as per Air Canada's website Li Ion batteries may not be in checked luggage and must be carried in the cabin in carry on luggage.

I travel extensively in Canada and to South America / Europe & Africa and put my juice in my checked bags and carry my Provari & Batteries in my carry on - have never had an issue, have had questions but once explained (and carry a copy of Air Canada's baggage policy that specifically references ecigs) customs / security have always been fine with it.

I never put all my eggs in one basket or all my vaping gear in one location when traveling. I basically put a complete backup in my checked bags, including charger, and carry everything I need in carry on as well. This also means I carry twice as much juice as I think I will need, because something may leak or disappear.

I put my Star Dusts in the liquid bag when I get to security. I have never been asked a question about them (Cuba, Canada, US Customs).
