Both of my magnetos had problems with the trident threading. It stops about half way. I made the plunge and tightened it flush. While scary, I don't believe it hurt anything. I had to do this to version 1 and 2 as I own both magnetos.

Be warned it most likely will not thread right. But my threads seem perfectly fine. And youll only have to do it once.

Didn't notice you said clone. I'm not sure if they have the same threading but I have a real trident.

I have the trident clone and it's a great rda. I did have to work the threads on my private v2 clone but it had threaded just fine into my Templar. The only things to note are that the o rings are huge and make it tough to pop the cap back on but not too bad. Secondly the drip tip hole is a little smaller than most. So some drip tips will fit others will not.

For the $16 I paid on fasttech for mine it was well worth it.
