So I just got my new trident atomizer in and me being the impatient one I am couldn't wait for my mod to come in to put her on and try her out. AWESOME by the way. My question is, am I in any danger of frying anything using this on my ego battery until I receive my mod? according to fasttech these ship in built at 1.8ohms. I have two ego batteries, one that fires at 3.7v and a VV that goes from 3.0 to 6.0. The non VV can handle I believe 2.5 amps where the VV can handle 3. am I in any danger of frying my batteries, atomizer, or my batteries blowing up until my mod arrives?

The dual coil will draw more battery amps, but @ 1.8, you should be fine. Don't be surprised if you have to charge your ego a little sooner with use. If you're too concerned, you could always rebuild it with a single coil or up the resistance to, say, 2ohms with duals. I would assume you're. At less risk than those who ran 1.5ohm DC cartos on egos.

Interesting, if it fires meaning these batteries have safeties to prevent harm? Sorry, not so worried about the cheap little ego battery as I am the atomizer I just waited forever for. Also if it makes a difference I just realized I was wrong on the specs, the is 4.2v fully charged and I'm kind of taking fasttechs word on what the ohms are out of the package since I don't currently have access to a meter (next on my list)
