Trident Stainless Steel Rebuildable Atomizer (Fast tech clone)

Decided to jump a little deeper into the vape pool and try a dripping atomizer although i have no idea how they work :p Just curious has anyone bought one of these from fasttech and if so are they any good ?

Secondly it looks like the only option is rebuilding the heads yourself on these which i have not done before...Could someone send me a few links to the items on fasttech i need. I am not exactly sure how it works but am looking to build them so they produce nice big clouds of vapor. Been doing some reading about mesh and kanthal wire or something but its a little overwhelming for me. Just looking for something basic to get my feet wet :) Mesh looks quite difficult so was planning on avoiding it for now.

Cheers,
JP

You need to get ohm reader or multimeter to check your ohm, resistant wire (mostly use are kanthal a1 28-30 guage), wick (silica, ss mesh, cotton, etc.). I only use silica and ekowool, it's the easiest to work with IMO.

Please learn how to setup properly before you start build them, and check your ohm if there any short every time.

I own a trident and my friend got a clone from Fasttech and they look pretty identical. IMO, if you are a beginner at building coils, i would not recommend getting this atty. The reason is because the space to build is so small, there is a good probability to short your wires if you don't know what you're doing. When i first got this atty i crushed my coils a few times when i put the top cap on.

You should look into some other drippers for your first rda. The other RDA i own is a chimbus and i love this thing. Just needed to drill the hole a bit bigger and it's perfect for me. Although i don't own one, I heard nothing but good things about igo's, so i would check with those as well.

i got the igo-l from fasttech and it is great, easy to build coils on and i use 32g on it and wrap higher ohms to use it on my SVD which can check the ohms easily...for me i instantly noticed the difference in taste using an RDA instead of my tanks and i have barely used a tank since...they are really not hard to build just watch some videos and you will get it down and practice makes perfect...just ordered my first genesis style atty yesterday i am excited to try these out as well after loving the RDAs so much and i def plan to order a few more from fasttech but wanna order some really nice genesis ones elsewhere.

I started off with tanks and carto's when I first started and never touched RDA for the simple reason that people were telling me it was hard to rebuild.......YEA RIGHT! I bout my first rebuildable dripper which was the IGO-W. Damn easy to build as long as you know the basics and how to use a multimeter, a VV mod with a ohm reader will work great as well. After messing with this dripper for about a week, I fell in love with it. Much more taste and vapor production than a tank. I've been buying a bunch of dripper, and i mean a bunch. Some are clones from fasttech and some originals from the Philippines. The clones work great, no problem except for some pinched o-rings and cosmetic issues, but no loss in performance. The originals are great if you can afford it, but the clones will do the job just fine. I have the trident clone and the originl trident, i tend to use the clone more...not sure why.
