With fresh batteries and a full carto, the amp draw with a pair of 18350s would be in the neighborhood of 4.5 amps (if they can really deliver that much). That's actually getting in to the realm of possibly dangerous.

Time will tell with the ego booster what sort of amps it can deliver. I haven't found that information in the marketing materials or the early reviews.

The Ego Booster is going to be limited by the battery. I don't know exactly what a Ego uses, a single 10440, 14500 or something totally proprietary but the specs should run along the same lines. You'll most likely run into current issues moving up the rage with anything more than sc reg ohm atty/carto. Heck the Provari will have issues as noted with some of this stuff using a IMR 18650.

I've bench tested the cell out of an eGo 1000mAh battery. It's 13mm by 65mm. I read somewhere they use a higher drain chemistry on them. I had one putting out 20 Amps before it started gassing out. It has only about 50mΩ internal DC resistance. Pretty amazing actually. I would be more concerned about the electronics than I would the cell. Of course, the booster likely has current limitations as well. I'd be surprised it it can put out much over 10W.

I have some triple coil cartos and for me, they measured out to 5 ohms per coil or 1.7 Ohms. Of course, there's always some range of manufacturing tolerance so it's certainly possible other ones could measure out lower.
