I just got back from the local B&M with a new tank. The connector is to long for the battery! Has anyone had this before? The top pic, it's the one on the bottom.

The second pic, it's the one on the right. I've never seen this before. I know it's the newer version, it has the short threaded tip.

That's a Kanger T2, no doubt.

I have both because I have that EGo battery and I feel like I have to get some use out of it.

Had to mark my 2 Kanger T2 tanks with "510" because I kept trying to put them on the Halo batteries.

They look like Halo exactly til you look at the connector.

They work just like Triton tanks do except the coils do not last as long.

I can see why a B&M might think they would fit the Triton battery.

At least they changed it out for you.

I hate to say this so don't take it as gospel, but I believe the Triton is vGo threaded. I do know if you want to use your Triton with say a glass mini protank you will have to buy a 808 to 510 adapter. And a collar thingy to make it look pretty and cover the gap on the exposed Triton vgo threads.

Just to clarify, the Triton is not ego threaded. It is vGo and 808 compatible.

If I understand correctly, the Triton is ego threaded, but the 808 connector up top is not compatible with ego accessories, which have the more common 510 connector up top.
