Great tutorial. In theory, the flat wire should vape better. I need to try this. Thanks for posting.

i've made a few micro coils, works well.
getting the grommet in is hard, he made it look so easy.
i use cuticle scissors to trim the wire, it's not seated well enough to be able to wiggle break the wire, everything moves.
I don't chase clouds, more vapour means you go through more juice which means you lower your nic so you don't feel sick.

Nah, my desktop only has 4 monitors, but I do occasionally remote into it from my tablet.
I tried two different tweezers, including the exact one he's using, and that wasn't going to do it. Maybe he's rebuilt that coil many times and it's become loose, but there's no way that pulling the bits from the underside works (for me anyways).
I have to find my coil wire, or order some.
It is my understanding that Tritons have 30 guage wire. There is a flat wire that has similar resistance per foot. {.6mm x .1 mm flat has almost the same resistance parameters as 30AWG round Kanthal}

That really doesn't look as difficult as I would have imagined.
I am seriously going to try this at some point.
I'm the type that is always looking to make something myself or find uses for things no one else would think about.

Awesome, going to have to order some wire and wicks, looked pretty easy, I will do it under my solder station magnifying glass though, my eyes would be bleeding otherwise
Haha, I was thinking the same thing regarding the solder station magnifying glass. {I built a radio control car years ago} -That seems like the hot ticket for this finicky procedure.
Magnifying glasses help IMMENSELY when doing any coil rebuilds... I rebuilt a bunch of coils for a friends set of EVODs and his protanks...(like the EVODs, the protanks just don't "taste right" to me). I ordered some of the Triton tanks for a kit I'll be passing along to my GF's father over Christmas, so of course I had to test one out.
DAAAAMN. I have to say, I like these things a lot.... good warm vapor and flavor... I'll probably be buying a Triton and a set of a few of these tanks for myself...
The rebuild didn't look too bad..... gonna have to see about trying one.

my first attempt didnt go so hot well actually it went really hot the coil fired up and then wouldnt shut off
That... doesn't sound right... might have been a short? Though, I can't imagine a short keeping the coil firing... odd. At any rate, be careful, no sense in frying a Halo battery over a $2.50 coil!
