Triton battery shuts off by itself

Has anyone else seen this issue? Is this enough to warrant an RMA? If I hold down the button, 2-3 seconds in, the light fades and goes off, if I hit it again, sometime it works, sometimes I have to hit it 5 times to turn it back on. It seems to be working fine, besides that little annoyance. I have three other batteries, none on them show this behavior.

No. Mine only flash when I hit the cut-off mark, blinks and cuts off. It doesn't turn off, it just cuts off and it's ready to fire again a second later.

Perhaps your circuits were damaged?

These types of batteries can occasionally have button issues, and as it is new, yes, I would personally get it replaced. All eGo/vGo variants can have this type of malfunction, even the best of 'em. Although you might luck out and the issue resolves itself, more often than not, it won't.

Does it do this with a tank on it?

It does the same thing with three different tanks, one of those I swapped the coil just to make sure. This is the only battery of the four that I have that does this. It's just a minor annoyance.

IF you accidently used a G6 USB charger, this action would cause your bat to function abnormally as you noted. If this is not the case then I would contact CS for a replacement.

Never had a G6, but I have read the warnings on their site about it. Thanks, I'll get a hold of their customer support when I have a chance.
