triton variable voltage battery dead after a week?

hi guys!

i got a variable voltage battery from halo a week or so ago and have only used it a few times. last night i charged it fully, used it for a minute or two, and set it down. came back an hour or so later, pressed the button, and got nothing. the light won't turn on at all. i've tried pressing it five times, 7 times, 9 times... nothing. i've tried putting it back on the charger and, when i do, the blue light on the charger stays blue and does not blink, and the button on the battery doesn't light up at all. it's completely dead!! i sent an email to halo about that and about four tanks that i have gotten from them that are just giving me the 3-blink code and not working. i've purchased a lot of hardwear from them in the past month or so, and am bummed out that i've come across so many duds. they won't refund the tanks because i've been using liquids other than halo brand, and are trying to help me with the battery to no avail.

any ideas?

Did you try a different tank on the batt to make sure it's not the tank versus a batt issue?

hey guys, yeah, i've tried everything aside from dissecting the whole thing. no response from the battery at all, it's just completely dead. the moat is clean - i honestly haven't used it enough to get anything liquid in there at all. i think they're sending me a new battery at least. it is a bummer about the tanks... i love the tritons when they're working but so far i haven't had the best luck keeping em working! ;)

That is a bummer but glad to hear you're getting a new batt. They really do last a long time. Keep us posted on how it goes.
