Is the Triton VV regulated to give exactly the desired voltage until it can't? I don't mean does a 3.5V selection, for example, give exactly 3.5V. What I mean is, if I select 3.5V, whether it's actually 3.3V or 3.7V or somewhere in between, will it give me that same voltage until it can't, and then quit until recharged? If it doesn't do this, is there an 808 battery that does?

There are different kinds of regulation. The G6's and regular Tritons (and many others) are regulated, too, but they don't keep a constant voltage and then just die when they can't maintain it. That's what I want. I want voltage X right off the charger until it dies. I know some larger, higher-priced PVs do that, but I haven't seen that in writing about the Triton VV. Thanks for the reply.

I don't notice any drop-off in mine. The battery routinely surprises me by the light flashing indicating it needs to be recharged. My non-vv Triton batteries gradually drop off and I know well ahead of time to charge them up. I haven't used a multimeter or whatever else there is to measure output; this is just anecdotal evidence, not measured.

This is actually a very educational topic. I love it.

I currently vape on G6 bats, which apparently are unregulated. I can tell when they need recharging because the vape becomes increasingly harder and harder to draw to get a good hit. On a fresh bat I can pull on it for a few seconds and get a really good hit. But as the bats lose energy I have to draw harder and harder up to the point where the LED starts flashing.

Apparently this is the same with regular Triton bats? I'm not sure that I really need a VV bat right now, but if I can get a constant vape regardless of charge on a VV bat, then I will certainly get the VV Triton bats over the regulars.
