Trouble installing carto past the o-rings

I have one tank that has been a bear to install the cartos in. It is really hard to get the carto past the inner O-rings. I decided to put the carto in my drill chuck and file, with a fine file, a small radius on the top of the carto. I also did the same for the bottom edge of the carto above the 510 connection. Carto now goes in and out of the tank much, much easier. I will be doing this to all my cartos from now on.

That seems like a bit of work there. Have you tried removing and replacing the orings? If there is a bit of a knot in the oring it can make them tougher but even then they will generally pop on in. Using a refilling tool also helps by spreading the oring before the cartomizer gets there.

I changed out the O-rings with the extra set, but that didn't help, I also have the refilling tool to use. Filing the radius only takes a minute to do, so no big deal. I might have run into a couple cartos that were just a little oversized too. This happened on just one of the three tanks I have.
