RDA Trouble with an igo-w

I am finally starting to coil around a 1/16" bit with 24 gauge kanthal and organic Japanese cotton. I make really good coils at this point, but first it is very very hard to get the cotton through. Then when I finally get it in and soaked the cotton just burns and tastes terrible.

What could I be doing wrong?

ohms of build. device powering coil. any info you think i could use picture might help.

if it is hard to get the cotton through you are using WAY TOO MUCH cotton.
There should be some resistance, not much. If you have too much wicking material then your liquid cant efficiently get under the coil, and you are just burning your wicking material.

Not sure you can get enough cotton in a 1/16 24 ga coil to work.
try a larger diameter.

I tried some igo w clones from 101vape and have had no luck with them. The air intake is very low on the barrel which promotes leaking. The barrel gets too hot too fast. It's a simple rda, should work well for single coil mouth to lung but it hasn't for me so far.

Use less cotton until it slides back and forth threw your coil with out knocking your mod over.

grab ahold of each tail and pull from side to side if you can knock a box mod over because of the friction

there is 2 much cotton in your wick.

Start at 25 watts and slowly add more power until you start to get some results.

Then you can fine tune your power level with the diameter of your coil and size of wire guage.

It takes some experimenting to get the thing to perform like you want it 2.
