Really need more info to recommend a kit for you. Like battery life, are worried about it. Do you want to fill your own cartridges? or do you plan on using cartomizers. Do you care if it looks like a cigarette or not? also anything else you can add about what you want. Since you have a blu maybe talk about what you like about it and dont like about it. Since everyone is different it helps to know these things to recommend the right kit for you.

I don't have one, but the ego is probably what you are looking for. Someone that has gotten a good deal on one will chime in soon and recomend a good place to purchase one. Great battery life, and everyone says it works great. I know esmokey treats has them, but I don't know who has the lowest price. I'm sure you'll get all the answers you need before too long. Welcome to ECF, and don't be discouraged by the Blu. Lots of people have them and gripe about them. You will find a model within your price range that will work you. Good luck!!

You can get the Vapor King (model Kr808D-1) for a lot less, if you go generic. ElectroNicStix carries the kit for $35.

Check out my newbie vids. :) There's a link in my signature - "Click me for newbie tutorial videos."

The videos are geared towards e-cigs on a budget - getting started for under $80.

Part 1 addresses the 2 most popular and well-liked kits, and Part 5 talks about the Kr808D-1 specifically.

thank you, that video was very helpful so i was thinking of getting the
JOYE 510 MEGA HYBRID SERIES:FLAT BLACK W/ BLUE LED

but is this a good starter kit?

I went from Blu to the 510 mega, great choice! Wordupecigs has a starter kit called 520 that is the mega, I love mine. batteries last me all day and I just placed an order for 6 juices. Laurin mixes her own and Jeffery will help you out every step of the way. I get the VG great vapor, not like the pitiful mist you are getting now. You can't go wrong with 510 mega. Bump up later to eGo but this unit is sweet!

The blu is really for light smokers. If you are going to vape more often and want a stronger hit, you should look at some of the larger ones that have been getting good feedback. For quality I recomend SmokeStik, and for vapor volume I have a good friend who recomends the Eluma (I havn't tried that one). Both are about $70 and look like regular cigarettes, although the SmokeStik has a really cool stainless steel one with a purple tip.
