you dont have to really soak it.. turn on the tap hot.. and hold it under it.. and move it under and out of the water.. until it starts to drain out fast.. then shake the atty a few times to get most of the water out.. if you have some high proof vodka or everclear give it a dip in that for a few seconds and it will dry faster so you can use it sooner.. if you want it even faster take a blow dryer to it after the wash...
if that does not fix it.. then you can try a dry burn.. this i would not do until you get a replacement atomizer.. because it can kill the atty.. for dry burn if it is auto.. do not put any liquid in the atty.. take repeated puffs on it until the atomizer glows red fast..
if manual hold the button and blow into the atty.. around 5 second holds let cool after each heating until the atty glows fast..
order a few new atomizers..
