Trouble with Nautilus Mini

Has anyone else had trouble opening the nautilus Mini to fill with more juice? Every time I try to untwist it I have one hell of a time. Any tips?

I had the same issue however you don't have to tighten the base very tight at all. What I did was take a pair of pliers or channel locks and use a rag over the pliers so you don't scratch your device and use the pliers to unscrew it I had to do this several times however I have since learned you can't tighten it down to tight. Hopefully you understand what I mean.

I used 2 of those rubber jar grippers. One to hold on top and one to twist with.

Yeah you can do this too and avoid having to use the rag .... I just used the rag obviously so I didn't scratch or mess up the base of my tank.

yeah, carry a pair of pliers 'cause that is what i have to use every time. i know they say not to tighten it down , but after you refill and maybe wipe it down just moving the airflow ring will also tighten it some more even without trying - i always need the pliers by the time the tank needs re-filling. it is a nice vape but i hope v2 corrects the issue. i only use it at home so i don't mind the pliers but i wouldn't want to carry them out and about- just a real pita-if it didn't vape so well i would have given it away a long time ago.it is the only tank i have ever had a problem with- even the full sized nautilus is easy to open up.

Yes. Lubricate the seal ring on the base with some PG or VG and it will no longer do that.

I use 4 different Nautilus tanks and have never experienced this. I wonder if maybe it could be a QC issue. I'm using 2 minis and 2 full size.

That and the head thread, both are culprits on getting in so tight. Also every now and again take out the head and clean the base. I find mine gurgling a big deal and that makes the head stay inside the shaft instead of coming out with the base.

The rubber bottom was a good idea but as mike said its far to easy to over tighten. I lub it up all the time and more than not i still end up needing a wrench to get the thing apart.

Try not fully tightening it. Not even hand tight. Someone in another thread suggested just snugging it closed. I usually screw it until the first feel of resistance then screw just a bit more holding the top cap. I take it and fill it at work every day and haven't needed tools.
