So far i was having easy luck with 28g and .9 Ohms coils... yet for some reason, one of my 2 iHybrid standards is hitting too damn hot, even at .9 Ohms.
The vape is too harsh and the coil snaps and growls like a 2 stroke dirt bike. lol. I have to be careful to take short draws.

The identical thing on the other (4/3 wrap) is vaping great.

I'm trying a 5/4 wrap - came out .9 again, and its still hot and harsh....

I have 3 Gene devices all wrapped with 28g 4/3 and this one is giving me fits... it popped the last 4/3 wraps on first vape a couple times.

Is it my wrap or can a device have an issue?

IMHO better to make resistance from 1.2 to 1.5 ohms. To avoid short-circuit the battery.

you obviously have not caught the Gen SLR wave ... yet. Try to buy a hybrid device today ... its literally impossible with the demand.
THere's nothing like it... IMR batts handle the wattage fine.
