I've been planning on getting the Bionx PL500 kit for our bikes, once we move down to Florida next month, I think I'll bite the bullet and get them. At $2k for each kit, that's a big bullet, so I better be able to hook up my passthrough to it!!

I have been riding an electric assist bike for over 7 years, they are FANTASTIC !! I only wish that I lived in a warmer climate, so I could use it more often. I am currently riding my second LaFree Sport, I wore out the first one. I plan on getting a new bike, with a Currie motor soon. My limited experience with LiOn batteries is that they are not as powerful as lead acid batteries. I have some steep hills here, that I need the extra power on.

A quick, but off topic message to tribalmasters. Don't use RG-58 for a transmitter, it's good for receiving, but too lossy for transmitting. For HF, I recommend RG-8X and for VHF/UHF, RG8-U. P.M. me if you have any questions.

I'm sure I could, but then I wouldn't be able to fold it up and stick it in the basement of my coach like I can the Paratrooper bikes we have.
