G'Day all !! Thanks for the kind wishes and support , I am now relegated to the couch for the next week or so minimum . X-Rays revealed no fracture so that's a positive start . Will be waiting til Monday next week for an evaluation from my GP , but if it is a surgery issue, will be out of action for quite some time....Meanwhile I am bandaged from ar5ehole to breakfast swaddled in about 2 inches of cotton wool and elasticised bandages.
Bonnie the wonderdog is sadly relegated to her dog pen for the time being, but she gets regular exercise twice a day when the neighbour brings over their boxer for a "mad mutt" session, I am missing her terribly , but she is an enthusiastic pup who loves her dad and doesn't realise she shouldn't leap into his lap while he's in a wheelchair!
I am thankful that my little community I live in is so close, I have four lovely neighbours cooking me meals and checking in on me constantly , and how many people can say the WHOLE town literally has visited and offered any support they can ( well there is only 12 of them lol )
All of the animals are being taken care of as well, even the local feedstock guy has been out delivering and helping out! This is why I love being an Aussie. People matter here.
For all you deviants , YES the drugs are working well !!! 160mg of codeine per day plus ibuprofen plus paracetamol works rather well.... I can pinch myself as hard as I can and not feel anything but a minor inconvenience ....... as for me , I am smiling and doing ok , well until it comes to getting to the toilet lol
