Hey all, I have a question. I was recently charging one of my AMR 1600 mAh 18650 3.7v batteries in my Trustfire multifunction charger. About halfway through its charging, I threw in one of my 1100 mAh 18490 (3.7v also) into the charger as well, in the second slot. A little while later (not sure exactly how long), the LED for the spot where the 18650 was charging turned yellow, which I've never seen. Does anyone know what that's an indication of? And, should I not be charging batteries with two different mAhs at the same time? I didn't think it would be an issue since they're both the same voltage, but I honestly possess very little knowledge about the batteries other than how to charge them and put them in my device. After it turned yellow, I threw the 18650 into my ProVari quick just to check and it was reading at 4.2v, so that's fine, but I really don't want to use the battery yet until I'm sure it's not having some sort of failure issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does your charger have 2 separate LED's, one for each battery?

I know my chargers are yellow right before they turn green at a full charge. Perhaps that battery was almost at a full charge. It may have been a coincidence that it turned yellow right as you put that other battery on. Espcecally since your Provari read out at 4.2v.

That being said, I usally only charged matched cells together at the same time, which normally come out of the same device (A 5v box mod)

I generally only charge matched at the same time (or just charge one at a time, situation depending), but since the ProVari only takes one battery and I have two 18650 and two 18490s I just try to make sure I have as many charged as possible for back-ups. This was just kind of a strange situation in which one 18650 and one 18490 were drained at the same time. I may just need to get a second charger and dedicate one to each. Even if you can't say for sure, would you think the fact it read at 4.2v is most likely a good sign?
