It surprises me that you aren't impressed with trustfire 3000mah batts. That is what I am using in my gogo tubes and I am having very good luck with them. They last at least 2 days. I admit that I haven't tried any other brand though. May not be that good but I am happy with the ones I have so am not trying anything else.

Hopefully someone with more experience will have some info for you.

Differens sized batteries, I know, but I bought two Ultrafire 14500 (gray ones) and two Trustfire 14500 (flame ones) at roughly the same time, late last year. The Ultrafires seem to want to be dying on me. ymmv

I have had the exact same experience with the Ultrafires vs. the Trustfires. My Trustfires have lasted much longer than the ultrafire batteries.

I would have recommended the Trustfire Flames. I haven't used Ultrafire 18650s but, they didn't impress me in 14500. You could look at the AW Protected but, they would have to last an awfully long time to be worth the difference in price. These protected Panasonics from Orbitronic should be as good as the AWs. The thing is when you can get the Trustfires for 9.38 a pair at DealExtreme, they are both more than twice the price.

BTW if you decide to get the Trustfires at DealExtreme, expect them to take 3 weeks to get to you.

Grrrrr. Been wondering about AW also, but couldn't understand the price difference!! I do like my batteries to get to me in a few days! I usually order from Hoosiers e-cig, best prices I've found for the quick shipping. He still carries the trustfire flame, but doesn't seem to carry the smoktech any longer. I would have tried one of each again just to see if there was just a fluke on the performance level.
